Bar Manager
Holding Patterns are looking for an experienced bar professional with a passion for great music, independent food and drink, and creating an exceptional atmosphere. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and proactive Bar Manager to join our team in the heart of Leeds.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership: Manage the day-to-day operations of the bar, leading a team to deliver outstanding service. Ensure all staff are trained, motivated, and aligned with our values of inclusivity and community.
Customer Experience: Create a warm, welcoming environment where all guests feel valued. Cultivate a space where music, drinks, and food come together to create an exceptional experience.
Music & Atmosphere: Oversee the delivery of a unique atmosphere by supporting our DJs, events and ensuring the music and vibe are always on point. Help curate playlists and events that resonate with our audience.
Independent Food & Drink: Maintain a deep knowledge of and passion for the independent food and drink culture in Leeds. Oversee the menu offerings, ensuring all products are top-notch and reflect our commitment to quality.
Team Management: Lead by example, maintaining a hands-on approach to both front-of-house and behind-the-bar operations. Manage shifts, stock levels, and service standards, ensuring smooth and efficient service at all times.
Stock Control & Ordering: Oversee stock management, ordering, and maintaining inventory, making sure we’re always fully stocked with the best local and independent products.
Compliance: Undertake all aspects of compliance from health and safety, fire regulations, EHO.
The Ideal Candidate:
Experienced Leader: Proven experience in a managerial role in the hospitality industry, ideally within a bar or music venue.
Music Enthusiast: A love for live music, DJ, and the role music plays in creating a unique atmosphere.
Passion for Independent Culture: A keen interest in and knowledge of Leeds’ independent food and drink scene, with a commitment to supporting local businesses and quality products.
Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to lead, motivate, and engage with both staff and customers, always keeping the energy high and the environment welcoming.
Problem-Solver: Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure, ensuring the bar runs smoothly during busy times.
Team-Oriented: You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited about working alongside a creative, passionate team.
